Recently, second year students in my class developed Wiki entries, whereas the literature states it is a graduate task. 

We have done this following, or as part of learning Knowledge Engineering principles, Knowledge Representation with ONTOLOGIES. 

As class resources we used a diversified and somewhat original (perspective) on teaching resources and on Learning Objects. 

a SPOILER: I believe the “secret” of the recipe in this case is the Meta level, the ontology that is used as a development backbone. Actually, this attempt at the development of  Wiki entry follows previous attempts, suspenseful attempts, at the development of learning objects.

Further development: not without hesitation/second thought - since the meaning of this would be going beyond “walls”, the content shall also be presented on i apps.. 

My GrandMother (Hanna Goldrei-Carlebah) used to like this kind of cake; eat, not bake. 

I tried it several years ago and now again. I start with the preperation of the coated peels since I use quite a few fruits and it takes some time.

Keeping these in the fridge, allows me to do the cake ‘spontaneously’.

A photo of the cake is on the previous post. What you see here is an example muffin (as the cake) and home-made marmalade  made of little oranges – KumKvat.

Of the marmalades I also prepare it of little lemons – the ones used for preparign Limonchelo.

For the Marmalade I use fruit- and brown sugar, some Agava syrup too.

Since the recipe is an altered combination of two publications (Aharoni, mainly and a paper extracted idea – the sower cream) it is written here for you to us. 

Recipe 

3/4 cup of Demrara (light brown) sugar)

4 eggs

2 cups of baking flour (no tricks of healthy, full or else..)

100 grams melted butter

3/4 glass of orange juice

3/4 cup of sower cream 

200 grams (approx.) coated peels. 

Add the sugar and the eggs follow with flour and butter (in the mixer). Then add the juice and the cream (not in the mixer). 

Add the coated – candied peels. I used about 200 grams (yes indeed) of home made of: orange, red grapefruit, and pomela peels. 

I chop them and cook them for some time in sugar  syrup (brown and light brown). 

Serve with love .. Enjoy!

Social software followed these practices. 

However, a structured, methodological approach to such as tagging (the other side of searching) has not yet been implemented. 

Concepts, and associated design principles, such as  User-friendly and Interactive Design, could benefit from the design and integration of an intuitive application. Consequently, significantly enhancing the user – and the user-role.

We had a wonderful Sun Class. apparently,HIT public space is  designed for this. Photos (of two classes by now) were posted on the Class Work Blog.

הרחוב היורד אל הים

הרחוב היורד אל הים ממקדש הבהאיים היה קרוי  באותם ימים  ”שדרות האו”ם”. ככל הנראה הועם אחר כך זוהרו של האו”ם בעיני פרנסי העיר. 

הגבעה עליה שוכן המקדש עברה מתיחת פנים וגנים מהונדסים מאכלסים היום את המורדות. כדי לבקר בגנים נדרש תאום וכניסה משערים מסודרים.

יש הרבה יופי באתר הזה. את הקסם אני זוכרת מאז בגלל הכיפה הזהובה שאהבתי לראות מהרחוב מעל המקדש מנצנצת בשדות ולא פחות להתבונן אחורה מהרחוב המוביל את הים ולראות את הדרך למעלה ההר מצטיירת סביב המקדש והכיפה.

Haifa in the 70's

The street via the sea at Haifa was once named the UN Boulevard. The name has changed and so did the view. Nowadays, the sacred place is located in the midst of beautifully carved gardens. At the time, when I was “little” I loved looking back at the site of the shrine overlooking the hill.
